Welcome back to Mondays with MacK! I hope all of the parents and family members I have met at orientation are having a great summer, and I look forward to meeting the remaining families this month! This week’s Monday with MacK is a bit different from our regularly scheduled programming. I wanted to show you all the backbone of our office, the Patriot Leaders! Our patriot leaders have been working so hard this past semester and now in the summer to welcome you and your students to Mason. This week’s post is actually in video form, so grab your popcorn and prepare to be amazed! This video represents a “day in the life” of our patriot leaders. Your student will start out by meeting our smiling patriot leaders at their check-in tent, which is then followed by our wonderful musical performance known as GMU What! During this performance, our PLs are showing off their singing and dancing skills to welcome and relax our new students. After that, they are off for the day, spread throughout campus showing your students the ropes, and grabbing some pictures and Mason swag. They work tirelessly to make sure your students have the best experience possible! I hope you all enjoy the video that was put together by our amazing media team.
