The women's tennis team picked up its second win at the PTR Springfest held this week in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The Patriots defeated Atlantic 10 opponent Saint Louis, 4-3, to improve to 6-3 overall, 2-1 at the event.

Mason split the singles matches with the Billikens and won the doubles point. The match's outcome was decided in the final singles dual.

The Patriots Taylor Garcia, Emily Wirt, and Ashley Fitz-Patrick earned wins in singles action today at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Club. Mason won both the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches.

"This was an awesome match against a very good A10 opponent," said Head Coach Steve Curtis. "We showed a bit of what we are capable of, but we still have some work to do.
I am very, very proud of a terrific team win today."

In doubles action, the top doubles team of Paige La and Taylor Garcia defeated Norhan Hesham and Mya Spencer for SLU, 6-2. The Billikens drew even with a win at No. 2 doubles. Jackie Nannery and Lauren Splett won 6-4 in the No. 3 match to collect the Patriots first point of the match. The duo moves to 7-4 overall this season.
