Dear Patriots,

George Mason University is currently monitoring the national pause in the use of the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine and has no immediate plans to use that vaccine at its clinics.

The university has been issuing the Pfizer vaccine to faculty, staff, student workers and contractors and will continue to do so. Any changes in that plan will be communicated to the university community.

Safety remains a top priority for George Mason University, and we will continue to consult with public health officials.

Sincerely,
Safety, Emergency, & Enterprise Risk Management

What are George Mason's plans for providing vaccinations for their students studying abroad this semester? We have a daughter in South Korea and would like to facilitate her Covid-19 vaccination, if possible. Thank you!
