Welcome back to Cara’s Corner! The fall semester begins soon with classes starting on August 26th. This means our Patriots are moving back to campus! Today I will be giving you all some important dates and information to make sure your students' move-in process goes as smoothly as possible.   

Fall move-in will occur over the course of four days: 

First Years- 

Wednesday, August 21st -Thursday, August 22nd from 9:00 am-4:00 pm  

Students can check their Mason email (or the email they listed on your Housing application) to ensure you have the right schedule for your move-in. New students will check in at the Angel Cabrera Global Center (ACGC) before proceeding to their unloading zone. 

Moving zones for first years: * As soon as the car has been unloaded students and their guests will need to move to a long-term parking space in Lot K/J to allow other students to move in.  Any cars left in unloading zones past the assigned time and/or overnight will have their cars ticketed and/or towed. 

Returning Students- 

Friday, August 23rd- Sunday, August 25th from 9:00 am-4:00 pm  

Upperclass students will have a new Self-Check-In Process, which allows them to select their planned move-in date (August 23rd –25th) and proceed directly to the unloading areas without going to ACGC first.  

If you and your student need additional help moving, please utilize our Move Crew! Move Crew is a team of student volunteers who welcome you and help unload & carry your items. Green bins will also be available if you feel more comfortable moving your own items in; they can be picked up near your assigned building.  

Green bins will be available in:  

• Rappahannock Deck  

• Angel Cabrera Global Center  

• Liberty Square  

• Potomac Heights
